Centro Cultural Solar do Barão, Curitiba, Brazil, 2009.
5th Biennial VentoSul, Curitiba, Brazil.

Representing a typical Maltese hunter’s hut, this work refers to the trapping and killing of birds, the very function of this structure, which is found dotted all over the Maltese landscape. By changing it’s context coupled with it’s construction of disused materials found in and around Curitiba, this work also relates to the existing shanty towns that are found worldwide and in this context, specific to several Brazilian cities.
